It’s been just six months since Rogers Place opened its doors in downtown Edmonton and crews are already being called back in to make repairs.
Starting the week of March 20, downtown commuters can expect various lane closures surrounding Rogers Place as crews work to replace nine exhaust fans on the roof of the arena.
According to a City of Edmonton news release, the exhaust fans have experienced component failures.
The work is expected to last three or four days. Specific detail surrounding lane closures will be announced closer to the start of the replacement.
The $480-million arena officially opened Sept. 8, 2016.
